How Spirit Speaks: Discovering Your Unique Intuitive Language

Woman sits cross-legged on a sofa in a cozy plant-filled living room, holding a wooden box and smiling softly.

Dear precious hearts,

One of the most common questions I hear is: “How do I know if it’s really them?”

And right behind that question is another: “Why does it seem like other people get signs so easily, but I don’t?”

Here is what I want you to know: Spirit speaks. But Spirit does not speak the same way to everyone.

You have your own intuitive language, and when you learn it, connection becomes clearer, calmer, and more natural. This is not about being “special.” It is about being human.

The Biggest Misunderstanding: Thinking You’re "Not Intuitive"

Many people believe they are not intuitive because they do not see visions or hear voices. But intuition is not just one thing—it is a spectrum of how your body, mind, and heart receive information.

  • Some people receive quietly.

  • Some receive through feeling.

  • Some receive through knowing.

  • Some receive through symbols.

  • And many people receive in more than one way.

The 4 Most Common Intuitive “Languages” (How spirit speaks)

You may have heard these described as "clairs." You do not need to memorize the technical terms. Just notice which ones resonate with you.

1. Clear Feeling (Clairsentience)

This is the language of the body. You might receive guidance as:

  • A warmth in the chest

  • Chills or goosebumps

  • A sudden, overwhelming calm

  • A light pressure or touch sensation

  • A wave of emotion that does not feel like it belongs to you

This is one of the most common ways Spirit is felt.

2. Clear Knowing (Claircognizance)

This is the language of certainty. You might suddenly “just know” something without reasoning it out. It can feel like:

  • A sentence drops into your mind fully formed

  • An answer arrives instantly

  • You automatically know what they would say

It is often quiet, and it usually arrives the moment you stop trying.

3. Clear Seeing (Clairvoyance)

This is the language of images. You might receive this as:

  • A mental picture or flash

  • A repetitive symbol (a feather, a butterfly, meaningful numbers)

  • A sudden flash of a memory

  • A vivid dream

For many people, this language is strongest in dreams because the analytical mind is finally quiet.

4. Clear Hearing (Clairaudience)

This is the language of sound. For most people, it is not an external, booming voice. It is more like:

  • Hearing a specific phrase in your mind

  • A song lyric on the radio that perfectly answers your question

  • A name that keeps repeating in your thoughts

It can be incredibly subtle and easy to dismiss.

How to Discover Your Language (A Gentle Practice)

Try this simple practice for the next 7 days. Keep it completely effortless.

Step 1: Create a Two-Minute “Listening Moment” Pick a consistent time—like during your morning coffee, right before bed, or in the car before you go inside. Place a hand on your heart. Take one slow breath in, and a longer breath out. Then say: “If it is healthy for me, I am open to loving connection in whatever way is best.” Then stop. Do not chase. Do not force. Just notice.
Step 2: Notice What Happens First What happens in the immediate stillness is often your primary language. Do you feel a physical sensation? A sudden knowing? A mental image? A phrase? Write down just one sentence in a journal. That’s it.
Step 3: Track Patterns, Not Proof You are not trying to “prove” anything right now. You are simply learning your unique pattern. Over time, those patterns will become beautifully clear.

What Blocks Intuitive Clarity (And How to Soften It)

  • Pressure: If you demand a sign, your nervous system often tightens. Tight nervous systems don’t receive well. Try replacing pressure with permission: “I’m open, but I don’t have to get it right.”

  • Comparison: Other people’s signs are not your measuring stick. Your bond is unique, and so is your language.

  • Grief Overload: When grief is acute, your system is in survival mode. If you feel flooded, start by calming the body first. A single, long exhale for just one minute can make a massive difference.

  • Dismissing What You Receive: Many people receive a beautiful sign and immediately say, “That was nothing,” or “What if I just made it up?” If it felt loving, steady, and comforting—let it count.

A Note About Safety and Discernment

Intuition should never make you feel frantic, pressured, or afraid. Healthy, true connection always feels:

  • Steady

  • Loving

  • Calming

  • Supportive

If something ever feels chaotic or fear-based, come back to your breath and your body. You are always allowed to set boundaries.

A Final Word for Your Heart

Spirit speaks. And you are not “behind” if you don’t receive the exact way someone else does. You are simply learning your language. You are learning how love reaches you now. Be gentle with yourself.

Warmly,

Moriah
